My two pence worth, next time I go into London by bike I think it will be on my own as it is easier to make progress and arrive at a destination a wee bit quicker. Enjoy some of the riding in town but as a group difficult to keep it together.
My vote goes with next cultural ride out of London or pair up and meet at destination in London. That way people can tear down the motorway or take a slightly more difficult route, their choice.

All thats left is where to?
Teds garden run? With spring comming up.
Science museum via the Ace.
The Mossie museum in North London, (M25 or A roads via Wembly or A roads in country)

OR SOMEONE ELSE CHOOSE A PLACE THAT YOU HAVE ENJOYED. Sure Tony will lead if he knows where.Tongue

The ace is having a British and Classic bike day and a book launch on this day so likely to be busy and a really boring ride to get there - unless you know a different way.

Here's one to visit  Bletchley Park

Advance ticket sales Bletchley Park Shop and it is a season ticket so if you don't see it all you can back again.

There is so much to see What to see

One down side - It is Junction 14 on M1 - no matter which way we go there is going to be lots of motorway.  Unless you can do a "quick" route across country.

Good oh looks like a decision

Bletchley Park it is

Run Leader Ninja

I have eMailed and asked about safe parking for motorcycles and also if there is safe storage area for crash helmets and maybe a jacket or two.  Depending on the answer I will book my tickets on line for collection on the day - Purchase tickets here

NOW - How long will it take to get there and will we need an early start to get the best out of the day.

Was here many moons ago,
Looking at my proposed route, to speed things up, a short trip on the M25 onto the M11 then turn off for a amble through the country side. (still looking at it)

Any idea what the route is?  Interested in a non-motorway run that would avoid the M20/M26 and  M25/M1 to J12 or J13 M1. And how long it would take.

Looking at a route, any way you go would almost certanly involve a M way, but to give every one a chance of getting there without to much fuss, m25, m11 to get a chunk of it out of the way then, once on the m11 take the firast avialable slip off and cut across country.

but like all good plans its a work in progress.
