Thats it then. Another year as good as over.
I wonder where or what I will do next year. Will I be able to afford such a trip. I spent £150 just on fuel.

My fuel consumption was 41.somethin before going to Scotland but having done over 1700 miles that week it has no gone up. it is over 51 miles to the gallon. I dont think that is to bad and certainly compares with most anything. Yes it will come back down again doing all the local stuff but long journeys it is very good.
You don't get 170 brake horse without havin to put some petrol in!
I recon most journo's are giving the bike rubbish comments because Honda would not give them one for 6 months or a year so they are picking little faults and blowing them out of all proportion.

Isle of Man sounds good but not for a week eh? It's a bit small for a week innit? It's like going to the IOW for 10 days. You wouldn't want to unless it was really good weather and you could swim inthe sea and do the holliday bit. Lovely place but small for biking.

We've had a couple of great biking hols on the IofW, there are lots of interesting roads,
and loadsa things to see.
Getting the bikes on and off ferries over the mats put down because of the foot and mouth outbreak was 'fun' !!
